The B2BPM Management Standard

When you appoint B2BPM, you are appointing a management partner that believes accountability should be visible. Every development is different, but our management structure is built around the following commitments:

1. Named responsibility. Your development will have a named portfolio manager a designated director, backed by a legal and finance team, providing oversight and escalation support.

2. A controlled start. We will agree a documented 30, 60 and 90-day mobilisation plan covering handover, finance, compliance, maintenance, communication and inherited priorities.

3. Visible actions. Material actions will be recorded with an owner, status, next step and target date, with progress reported to the client board.

4. Planned reporting. The reporting frequency and content will be agreed at mobilisation so directors receive useful operational and financial information rather than data without explanation.

5. Purposeful inspections. The site-inspection programme will be agreed with the client and used to identify, record and follow through necessary action.

6. Transparent procurement. Quotations, recommendations, relevant relationships and any commissions or administration charges will be disclosed in accordance with the management agreement and applicable requirements.

7. Clear escalation. Urgent risks and materially overdue actions will have an identified escalation route, including director involvement where appropriate.

8. Forward planning. We will help the board consider compliance, planned maintenance, reserve funding and foreseeable major expenditure rather than managing only the next immediate problem.

9. Resident communication. We will communicate material decisions and works clearly, proportionately and through the agreed channels.

10. An orderly handover. If our appointment were to end, we will support a professional transfer of records, funds and live matters in accordance with the agreement and our legal obligations.
